Will the adjustment hurt?
Adjustments generally don't cause the patient any discomfort, and are very gentle. Sometimes, a clicking sound, or cavitation, is produced during an adjustment. This is a result of carbon dioxide leaving the joint.
I've had spinal surgery in the past. Can I get adjusted?
It is very important that you inform your chiropractor of your previous surgical procedure. Your chiropractor will want to know the approximate date and spinal location in which the surgery was performed. If it's determined that chiropractic is not appropriate, your chiropractor will refer to another healthcare provider for further evaluation.
I don't have pain. Why should I get adjusted?
Adjustments will keep your body functioning at peak potential. You'll have proper range of motion, prevent spinal decay, and live without discomfort. People who get adjusted regularly perform better because their bodies function at the highest level. They increase flexibility, and reduce their risk of injury.
You take care of your teeth with preventive care, and you will greatly benefit by doing the same for your spine.
How does chiropractic support your child's development?
Chiropractic care helps the nervous system in its development, and will assist in growing healthy kids. Babies and children who get adjusted at an early age are sick less often, get more restful sleep, and are happier overall. Adjustments are safe, gentle, and relaxing to little ones.

I heard chiropractic adjustments can cause stroke or paralysis. Is this true?
These cases are extremely rare. According to the American Chiropractic Association, the odds of injury are roughly 0.00002%. Your chiropractor will take proper precautions using imaging and orthopedic tests to determine if chiropractic treatment is appropriate.
How can chiropractic help you to maintain health in your golden years?
